About the Housing Alliance & Community Partnerships

The HACP is established by Idaho Code 50-1910 and is an independent public body dealing with housing matters in the Pocatello region.

The Pocatello Mayor appoints and City Council confirms the members of the HACP Board by State law. The 5 members of the Board are appointed for 5-year terms, and at least 1 member must be an eligible resident (an individual who is assisted by the HACP). The other 4 members must live within HACP's service area, which is the city limits of Pocatello and Chubbuck.
