The Pocatello Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is asking for you to lend a hand to those in need. 

MYAC will be holding an essential needs drive Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pocatello Police Department Substation, 800 Yellowstone Avenue (near Fred Meyer). At the event, MYAC members will be collecting toilet paper, body soap, toothbrushes, diapers, razors, deodorant, laundry detergent, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, canned dog and cat food, non-perishable food, and more. 

Collected items will be placed in the Free Little Pantry. Currently, there are two locations, one is located in the City Hall parking lot and the other is located in the parking lot of the Community Recreation Center. 

The Pocatello Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is comprised of 9th through 12th grade students who live within the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District boundaries. Members are appointed by the Mayor and serve until they graduate.
