The City of Pocatello Street Operations Department will be paving Johnny Creek Road in conjunction with the Water Department transmission line project.
Work will take place Monday, August, 24 and Tuesday, August 25, 2015 approximately between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, with the road reopening at 5:00 pm each evening.
Johnny Creek will be closed to through traffic from Sunset Rd. to Wild Mountain Dr. while work is being done. Traffic will be detoured and flaggers will be on site to direct traffic in the construction area. Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes when possible to avoid travel in the area.
The public’s understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated. Crews will finish the work as quickly as possible. In the event of bad weather or unforeseen problems, the work may need to be rescheduled.
