Historic Preservation Plan: SURVEY CLOSES JUNE 30

Pocatello residents are invited to participate in an online survey regarding an update to the City’s Historic Preservation Plan. The City, in collaboration with the Pocatello Historic Preservation Commission and the project consultant, Kirk Huffaker Preservation Strategies, has started the work to update the current preservation plan which was adopted in 2019. The Plan needs a refresh to better reflect the community's vision and renewed priorities for the City's historic preservation program. This community vision was brought to light during the process of rewriting the City's Comprehensive Plan from 2021 to 2023. The updated historic preservation plan will identify the priorities and vision regarding the preservation of historic assets in our community for the next 10 years. The survey will be available online at: pocatello.gov/preservation.
