Members of the community are invited to attend a dedication ceremony for a new flood information sign on the Portneuf River in Pocatello. Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad will provide remarks on the importance of flood control and real-time river data provided by the U.S. Geological Survey streamgage where the display is installed. Mayor Blad will be welcomed by Roy Bartholomay, Director of the U.S. Geological Survey’s Idaho Water Science Center, and other members of the Idaho Silver Jackets flood risk management team.
