[ARCHIVED] City of Pocatello Environmental Fair Scheduled for April 27 at Lookout Point

We are excited to announce this year’s Environmental Fair will be closing out Earth Week Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Lookout Point, 426 West Lewis Street. Come out and enjoy FREE food, FREE admission, and LIVE music at this year’s fair. There is something for everyone at the fair, so bring your friends and family for a fun-filled afternoon in the park.

Looking to get involved with a local organization committed to making the Portneuf Valley a healthier and more sustainable place to live? Looking for a spring outing with the family? Then mark your calendar for the 2024 Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair! Learn what you can do at work, home, and school to help improve our local environment. Connect with community members and organizations to learn how to make the Portneuf Valley an even more wonderful place to live!

Over 65 local businesses, agencies, and organizations will be hosting hands-on activities for children of all ages, providing giveaways, and teaching us what we can do to keep our public lands and waterways clean for future generations. City of Pocatello’s Lead Safe and Healthy Homes Program will be offering free lead testing of toys, trinkets, pottery and ceramics, costume jewelry, small painted items, vintage glassware, small appliances and utensils, and paint chips. The Idaho Rural Water Association will also be providing free nitrate testing! Learn about what to bring to get samples tested at envirofair.org/chemical-testing/.
