Pocatello East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center Field Trip Information

Hello Teachers, Parents, & Students!

You, your child, or your students will be joining us for a Nordic Center program this winter. We are looking forward to teaching 4th graders to snowshoe and 5th graders to cross-country ski. Please review the information and links below to prepare for the program!

Teachers

ASAP

Arrange busses/transportation for your field trip day(s)—do not delay!

At least 3 weeks prior to the program

• Print student forms and send them home.  Each student should receive a copy of each document below:
  • Waiver (PDF)
  • How to Prepare (PDF)
• Collect waivers and review to ensure that they are signed.

1-2 weeks prior to the program:

• Play the following video for your students.
  
  
• Review teacher/chaperone expectations (PDF). Be sure to share with your chaperones.

Day before the trip

• Remind students what to bring and what to wear.
• Ensure you have all forms collected.

Morning of the trip

• Don’t forget to bring completed forms!
• Please do not bring any cash or checks. Your school will be invoiced.
• If you’re running late, please call 208-234-6237. We cannot receive texts at this phone number!

Students/Parents

Please return your completed waiver promptly when you receive it from your teacher!

At least 1 week prior to the program

• Review the How to Prepare (PDF) information.
• Review this video.
• Start gathering your clothes to ensure you have everything.

Night before the program

• Pack a solid lunch. Please do not pack anything that needs to be heated—we do not have a microwave.
• Fill your water bottle.
• Lay out your clothes.

Morning of the program

• Suit up in all of your clothes.
• Don’t forget your lunch, water bottle, snack and backpack to carry everything!
