Pocatello Animal Services to Host Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic May 17

City of Pocatello News Posted on May 07, 2025

Pocatello Animal Services will host a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the animal shelter, 3100 Avenue of the Chiefs.

Rabies vaccines will be available for $10 per animal, payable by cash or check only. Valid photo identification is required, and credit cards will not be accepted. Pets receiving their first rabies vaccination will be covered for one year. To qualify for a three-year rabies booster, owners must bring proof of a previous rabies vaccination.

In addition to rabies vaccinations, pet licenses are currently being offered at half-price through the end of May. Microchipping services will also be available for $22.50 tax included.

These services help ensure pets in the community remain safe, healthy, and properly identified.
