The City of Pocatello Water Department has released its 2025 Water Quality Report, which is now available to the public.
This annual report summarizes the results of approximately 1,300 water quality tests conducted throughout the past year, covering more than 100 different compounds. It provides detailed information on the source of Pocatello’s drinking water, what it contains, and how the City’s testing and treatment processes work to reduce potential health risks and ensure water safety.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets standards to limit the presence of certain contaminants in public water systems to ensure that tap water is safe to drink. As part of those standards, water utilities are required to provide customers with an annual report to help them stay informed about the quality of their drinking water.
