General Notice
City of Pocatello (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following Project:
2025 OLD TOWN SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT AND REPAIR PROJECT
Bids for the Project will be received at the City Hall located at 911 N. 7th Avenue, Pocatello, ID 83201 until November 25, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. MT. At that time the Bids received will be publically opened and read in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
The Project includes the following Work:
The City of Pocatello has secured funding for a project that includes assessing sidewalks and ADA curb ramps in the Historic Downtown Pocatello for trip hazards, mobility impairments, accessibility impairments, and other impediments that may inhibit travel along the sidewalk. The project also includes repairing those identified hazards through grinding of the hazard, as applicable, and identification of those areas that need full replacement. This project is funded through federal appropriations provided by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and the Pocatello Regional Transit (PRT) Authority. The project location includes the blocks extending north to south from W. Gould St to W. Benton St. and west to east from N. Buchanan Ave. to Union Pacific Ave. The project scope includes identification of: hazards along sidewalks, existing non-compliant curb/sidewalk sections or ADA ramps, height of trip hazards, identification of trip hazards that can be ground down to resolve mobility impairments, identification of hazardous sidewalks that need full replacement, and removal of hazards that may be ground down. Contractor is responsible for traffic control through the duration of the project and must adhere to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Pedestrian access must be maintained on one side of the street at all times. Projects will be awarded to the lowest bidder based on total price for assessment and unit price for hazard removal per bid schedule.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2025 OLD TOWN SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT and REPAIR PROJECT. The Contract has an expected duration of up to one year.
