The City of Pocatello’s Planning & Development Services, in consultation with Stantec, is inviting residents, employers, and stakeholders to share their perspectives on local housing. An online survey is now open and will inform a comprehensive, citywide Housing Plan. The survey closes September 30 at 11:59 p.m.

The Housing Plan, identified as a priority in the City’s Comprehensive Plan, will:

Analyze housing demand and community needs

Evaluate the performance of current regulations

Recommend updates to City code, where appropriate

Explore potential public–private partnerships to support affordability

Outline strategies to increase the variety of housing options in Pocatello

“We want every voice at the table as we plan for Pocatello’s housing future. By sharing your perspective, you’ll help us ensure that our city offers a range of housing choices that support families, workers, and residents of all ages,” said Jim Anglesey, Long Range Senior Planner for the City of Pocatello.
