Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Zoo Idaho’s New Gift Shop and Entrance August 18

Ribbon Cutting

Zoo Idaho and Connections Credit Union are pleased to announce the ribbon cutting of the new Zoo Connections Entrance and Gift Shop. The new 1,200-square-foot structure is home to the ticketing and concession areas, a gift shop, and restrooms. The new building was made possible through donations by Connections Credit Union and the Zoo Idaho Zoological Society (ZIZS).

“The Zoo Connections Entrance and Gift Shop is the centerpiece of where we are taking Zoo Idaho,” said Zoo Idaho Superintendent Peter Pruett. “The log cabin is a perfect addition and a great way to welcome each guest into the zoo.”

The event is scheduled for August 18, at 11 a.m. at 2900 South 2nd Ave., Pocatello, Idaho. The ribbon cutting will be held outside the Zoo gates and is free and open to the public. For those wishing to enter Zoo Idaho, regular admission rates apply.
