The PPD Youth Leadership Academy is an opportunity to those incoming Juniors and Seniors looking to learn about leadership skills and the potential career in Law Enforcement. Students can expect to learn about leadership principles, K9 demonstrations, firearm safety, tactical medicine, Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC), and more! YLA is open to all incoming Juniors and Seniors.

What is the cost?

None! YLA is free to students thanks to being a branch of Pocatello D.A.R.E., Inc.

Where will it be?

Students will begin each day at the Pocatello Police Department to receive instructions for the day. Lessons will be held in various locations including Idaho State University.
