Pocatello Medication Take-Back Program

Prescription bottle and pills

The Medication Take-Back program is an ongoing effort by the City of Pocatello and its partners to ensure residential medications stay out of the landfill and or sewer system and, in turn, our groundwater. Accepted items include:

  • Expired or unwanted prescription medication
  • Herbs and vitamins
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Veterinary medications

No syringes, needles / sharps, lancets or any type of biowaste can be accepted. Business waste is also not accepted.
