What to Consider Before Adopting

  • Spaying and neutering is required for all animals adopted from the shelter. This may slow down the adoption process. Please ask at the front desk for more details or call.
  • The shelter offers a two-week trial period.
  • The shelter is a great place to find almost any size, color, age and breed of cats or dogs and sometimes other small animals, too!
  • Remember, this is a life-time family commitment. Include your whole family when deciding on what pet you want to adopt.
  • The Pocatello Animal Shelter reserves the right to refuse any adoption.
